Support services from the Federal Employment Agency
The projects and programs of the Federal Employment Agency offer you access to qualified workers, skilled workers and trainees from numerous countries. They cover a wide range of sectors - including industry, healthcare and skilled trades - and are geared towards the specific requirements of companies.
Multilingual teams of experts from the International Placement Services (ZAV) are at your side with their experience and know-how. A fair and coordinated recruitment process enables the regulated and tailored immigration of skilled workers and trainees. You will receive expert support with the selection in the country of origin, the recognition of foreign qualifications, the organization of language courses as well as with visa procedures and entry.
The placement service of the Federal Employment Agency is free of charge for you. They cover the applicant-related costs, e.g. for language courses, recognition and travel.

The Chamber of Commerce Abroad supports you in your search for suitable candidates: Skilled workers for Germany.
- Qualified specialists from Vietnam, Brazil and India are brought together with IHK companies in a targeted manner
- Participants must have at least two years of professional experience, a recognized German B1 language level and a fully or partially recognized vocational qualification
- The project is a joint initiative of the DIHK and the Federal Employment Agency and is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection
- UBAconnect provides a free matching service for companies that are members of the IHK or HWK. This platform offers support in finding suitable international applicants. As part of an adaptation qualification, you can become a training company for skilled workers with foreign qualifications.
