You can search specifically for jobs in your industry.

• You can find IT jobs on the ITsax portal.
• Jobs for engineers, technicians, and STEM professions are available on MINTsax.
• The Silicon Saxony Job Board offers jobs and apprenticeships in the semiconductor and electronics industries.
• You can find public sector jobs on Karriere Sachsen.
• You can find jobs in the medical field at the Saxon State Medical Association, the Saxon State Dental Association, and the Saxon State Pharmacists’ Association.

Tip: Take advantage of the contacts and advisory services offered by theGerman Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK).  

Another option: Start your career at a Saxon company with a location abroad and relocate to Saxony later. The Saxony Economic Development Agency offers a company database that allows you to find Saxon companies and their international branches.

Platforms such as LinkedIn and Xing help you to find jobs and get in touch with employers. Many companies also present themselves as employers on Instagram and TikTok. A professional presence can improve your chances.

If you’re having trouble finding a job on your own, you can also take advantage of recruitment programs and opportunities offered by recruitment agencies. 

You can receive support from the Central Agencyfor Foreign and Specialized Placement (ZAV) even while still in your home country. The ZAV, part of the Federal Employment Agency, will assist you with your job application and job search in Germany. It has a global network, including the European cooperation network EURES (EURopean Employment Services).

Private recruitment agencies abroad are one option for finding a job in Saxony. However, it’s important to ensure they are reputable. In the recruitment overview provided by the Center for Securing Skilled Workers and Decent Work (ZEFAS), you’ll find fair and sustainable recruitment agencies that can help you find jobs in Saxony.
